Zara Realty donates to police, UG

The US-based Zara Realty Group on Friday donated $3.8M worth in cricket gear and desktop computers to the Guyana Police Force and University of Guyana (UG).

The items which include bats, balls, gloves and twenty-two desktop computers were handed over to the police and students of UG during a simple ceremony held in Commissioner of Police (ag) David Ramnarine’s conference room.

Among those present at the ceremony were Minister of Public Security Khemraj Ramjattan,  Ramnarine, Crime Chief Paul Williams and other senior members of the force.
