The Guyana Relief Council (GRC) yesterday made a presentation of $75,000 to broadcaster Ron Robinson towards his recuperation, post-heart surgery. A release from the GRC said that Robinson has always been a friend of the Council and “ever willing to volunteer his services whenever called upon to do so”.
A release from the Council said “Over the years he has brought not only cash but levity to our fund raising events by his great auctioneering skills. This small contribution to his wellbeing is an expression of our gratitude to Mr. Ron Robinson for his unconditional support of the humanitarian mission of the GRC”.
