Whitewater Primary now has steady supply of power

Some of the textbooks and computers available for use

Following the recent visit to the Whitewater Primary School, Region One, by a team of 13 senior education ministry officials, the school is now equipped with a steady supply of electricity and the school’s library now has more than 150 relevant textbooks and workbooks.

A release yesterday from the Ministry of Education said that these are some of the many matters that are being addressed to ensure that the over 180 north west students are being educated under the right conditions.

As a result of the steady power supply, the release said that the students now have opportunities to access computers and to listen to the various education-related radio and television programmes.

The team of officers on the visit was led by the Chief Education Officer, Marcel Hutson.
