Topsy-turvy
This Route 44 Mahaica/Georgetown mini bus toppled several times before coming to a halt on Camp Street in front of the Christ Church Secondary School last night. An eyewitness told Stabroek News the mini bus BSS 5239 was travelling north on the western carriageway when a car traveling east on Middle Street crashed into the bus at the intersection. As a result of the impact the bus toppled three times.
Passengers who were in the bus at the time of the accident were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital for medical attention for minor injuries.
