Another part of East Street where overflowing garbage bins sit on the road in front of a resident’s house waiting to be emptied.
Garbage continues to pile up around the city as the two main garbage disposal services – Puran Brothers and Cevons Waste Management – have pulled their services from the city. As can be seen in the pictures, disposal bins have started to decorate the streets of Georgetown and on East Street, five bins, packed to their rims, currently sit, waiting for their contents to be disposed of.
The East Street footpath has become an area where persons are disposing of their garbage since the receptacles that were placed on the footpath are all filled.
