Close to 328 persons (82 households) of Washington Estate, Region 3 are expected to have access to potable water for the first time, before the end of this year, according to a statement from the Guyana Water Incorporated yesterday.
This will be made possible through the reactivation of the Hubu well, as was communicated by Managing Director, Dr. Richard Van West-Charles, who, along with a team of engineers, addressed residents at a church in Washington Estate on Sunday last.
