The official signing of the document handing over the 8 wells in the South Rupununi, dug by the Brazilian army in conjunction with the Guyana Defence Force, to the Guyanese Government was done on Tuesday during a ceremony at the Brazilian Consulate in Lethem.The document was signed by the Regional Chairman Bryan Allicock, Lt Col Vandir Pereira Soares Junior (not pictured); witnessing the signing were Brazilian Vice-Counsel to Guyana Lisa Reis and President of Rupununi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Allison Camacho.
