The police were late last week asked to do some additional work in relation to the investigation into the shooting of Jimmy Ramgobin, the labourer who was injured by news presenter Travis Chase more than a week ago, a police source said.
“The file was returned for the police to clear up some points and it has since been returned for further advice”, the source added.
Crime Chief Lyndon Alves had told Stabroek News last Wednesday that the investigation into the matter was completed and the file was dispatched for legal advice last Tuesday.
