The police were up to yesterday afternoon continuing their search for the driver who is suspected to have been responsible for Sunday’s Annandale, East Coast Demerara (ECD) hit-and-run accident, which claimed the life of a teenager and left another youth critically injured.
A minibus, which is suspected to be the vehicle used in the accident, was impounded on Thursday after it was found covered in a yard at Mon Repos, ECD.
Contacted for an update yesterday, Traffic Chief Linden Isles told Stabroek News that ranks are making every effort to locate the driver.
