Seventy-five pupils near closed sugar estates receive help via Ram and McRae

Seventy-five pupils from three primary schools in  the vicinity of the closed sugar estates have received donations of school supplies, food hampers and cash through an initiative spearheaded by Ram & McRae, Chartered Accountants.

A release yesterday from Ram and McRae said that the three schools are the Patentia Primary on the West Bank of Demerara and Skeldon Primary and Rose Hall Canje Primary on the Corentyne.

The ages of the children, who were selected by the Head Teachers of the respective schools, ranged between five years and ten years. The exercise was carried out in the last week of school before the Christmas break and followed a similar event at Patentia Primary School earlier this year.
