Laughter was heard on Saturday from the lawns of the Prime Minister’s Official Main Street Residence as over 200 children from various orphanages in Georgetown were treated to an afternoon of Christmas festivities by Sita Nagamootoo, wife of Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo.

A release from the Department of Public Information (DPI) said that the children were entertained by youths from various talent groups around Georgetown in song and dance. They were also greeted by Santa Claus who took along presents.
