12 months’ jail for duo over theft of fridge, goods from city seawall vendor

Two men were on Friday sentenced to 12 months in jail after they admitted to stealing over $200,000 in in goods from a city seawall vendor.

Alex Bernard, 20, and Seon Adams, 19, of Campbellville, were read a robbery charge by Magistrate Judy Latchman in Georgetown.

It was alleged that the two on January 2nd, at Seawall Road, Georgetown, stole a $65,000 fridge, a $45,000 cart and a quantity of alcoholic beverages and other drinks. The stolen items, which were the property of Noel Blair, amounted to $202,000 in total.
