Trial of baker, wife over ganja in cylinder begins

Two witnesses yesterday testified at the trial of baker Colin Denny and his wife Malika Softleigh, who are accused of trafficking cannabis.

The charge against Denny and Softleigh states that the two, between November 14th and November 15th, 2017, at Lot 6 ‘C’ Tucville Terrace, trafficked 57.8608 grammes of cannabis.

Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU) prosecutor Konyo Sandiford presented two witnesses yesterday when the trial commenced before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman in Georgetown.
