One of the two suspects arrested in connection with the death of Sean Waldron, the Haslington, East Coast Demerara (ECD) labourer who was found floating in the Mahaicony Creek last week, is expected to be charged with murder today.
A police source told Stabroek News that the charge would be instituted in keeping with the advice of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), who recommended that one of the men be charged with murder.
As a result, he is expected to be arraigned today. The other suspect has since been released from police custody.
