Gonsalves looks to return to winning ways

Dexter ‘Cobra’ Gonsalves hits the pad of trainer, Joseph Murray during a recent workout at the Andrew ‘Sixhead’ Lewis Gym. Gonsalves and Venezuelan, Felipe Barcelo, will be part of the six-fight ‘Bad Blood’ card on Saturday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall.

National lightweight champion, Dexter ‘Cobra’ Gonsalves will look to shake off some rust when he returns to the ring Saturday night at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall on the ‘Bad Blood’ card.

The skillful, orthodox fighter (8-2-2) will take on power punching Venezuelan, Felipe Barcelo (3-2-2) in a 10-round fight after being out of action since August 2016.

The Joseph Murray-trained fighter is looking to get back into action and in the win column as he prepares for a Commonwealth title shot down the road.
