Winners row for Wisburg, Harmony, New Silvercity, Mackenzie High

Wisburg Secondary crushed Linden Foundation Secondary, while Harmony Secondary edged Linden Technical Institute, when the Edward ‘Screw’ Richmond Under-18 Football Championship continued on Wednesday.

Staged at the Wisburg Secondary School ground, Wisburg defeated Linden Foundation Secondary 4-0. Joel Isaacs netted a double in the 16th and 32nd minute, while Leyon Jones and Quacy Cadogan scored in the 20th and 31st minute, respectively.

Harmony Secondary edged Linden Technical Institute 1-0.Osafo Paul netted the winner in the 18th minute.

On Thursday March 22nd at the same venue, New Silvercity crushed Private Schools Combined 10-0. Ojani Whittington tallied a hat-trick in the eighth, 10th and 57th minute, while Shane Haynes fashioned a hat-trick in the 18th, 20th and 34th. Adding a double in the 14th and 38th minute was Emmanuel Atkins, while Huey Fraser and Malachi Todd found the back of the net in the 23rd and 70th minute, respectively.

Meanwhile, Mackenzie High School brushed aside Harmony 3-1. Kemuel Batson, Lebron DeFlorimonte and Lorenzo Miller scored in the sixth, 28th and 46th minute, respectively. Harmony netted a consolation goal in the 65th minute.
