Young table tennis sensation and national U15 cricketer Niran Bissu yesterday marked his return to competitive table tennis by serving his way to championship honours in the boys U15 category of the Titans Table Tennis Club ‘Play to Conquer’ junior tournament at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall (CASH).
Bissu captured the title by playing unbeaten in the round robin final.
He defeated second-place Isaiah Layne 3-1 before downing Isaiah Sahadeo, Joel Rajkumar and Curtis McRae all by a 3-0 margin to complete his championship run following a hiatus from the sport for national U15 cricket duty.
