The man who was arrested Sunday evening in relation to the gunning down of Canada-based Sean Allister O’Brien Greene, is deemed a ‘person of interest’ and he remains in custody as the probe continues, Crime Chief Lyndon Alves said yesterday.
Stabroek News was reliably informed that investigators continue to question the man, who goes by the alias ‘Quarterz’, up to last evening since he and Greene reportedly had an ongoing feud in neighbouring Suriname.
A source informed this newspaper that at the time of his arrest, the suspect was at the Guyana-Suriname border. It is believed that he was about to flee the jurisdiction.
