A pork-knocker was yesterday remanded to prison after being charged with the illegal possession of a gun and matching ammunition.
Kevin Richardson, 30, was brought before city magistrate Leron Daly, who read the charges to him.
It is alleged that Richardson, a father of five, on January 11th, at Arau Mountain Top, Cuyuni River, had a 9 mm firearm in his possession without being a licensed firearm holder. It is further alleged that on the same date and at the same time, he had a 9 mm round without being a licensed firearm holder.
