The police have released the juvenile who was taken into custody last Wednesday after he took them to an abandoned house in Mackenzie, Linden, where he had hidden an unlicensed firearm that he reportedly stole.
Police Commander Linden Lord on Friday told this newspaper that the teen was released into the custody of his aunt. In addition, he stated that the file that was sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions’ office was returned, and that a request had been made for a probation report on the juvenile be part of the file.
