Assistant Commissioner of Police David Ramnarine, who proceeded on vacation after being passed over for the post of Police Commissioner, has been granted an extension of his leave.
Commissioner of Police Leslie James on Friday confirmed that Ramnarine requested an extension of his leave, which was granted by the Ministry of Public Security.
“What I can say about Mr Ramnarine? He is still on annualized vacation leave………Yeah, he did request and it was granted not by me but through the Ministry of Public Security,” James said.
