Lenox Shuman, the presidential candidate of the Liberty and Jus-tice Party (LJP), yesterday met with representatives of the Society Against Sexual Orien-tation Discrimination Guyana (SASOD) at its Duncan Street, Lamaha Gardens headquarters. In a brief statement, SASOD said Shuman and party executive Sean Dublin, met with its Managing Director Joel Simpson and Human Rights Coor-dinator Valini Leitch to introduce the LJP and share its values and vision for a Guyana which is inclusive and respectful of gender and sexual diversity. The statement added that Shuman and Dublin also invited SASOD to review and comment on the party’s draft constitution, especially its provisions on human rights and social justice.
