Defending champions, the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will take on the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) in the season opener in the GISE, Star Party Rental, Trophy Stall and Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) first division two-day competition which bowls off today.
The two teams will clash Camp Ayanganna from 9:30hrs and will feature as this weekend’s lone first division fixture.
This weekend will also see the start of the 2019 Noble House Seafoods second division two-day tournament with four matches bowling off across the city.
