Music to their ears

Deputy Commissioner of Police Paul Williams on Tuesday visited the Music Department of the Guyana Police Force. In what was described as an historic visit, Williams told the gathering to “Maximize the opportunities that come your way”. The Deputy Commissioner’s Visit comes ahead of the Police Steel Orchestra’s participation in the Republic Bank’s Annual Panorama Competition which will be held at the Cliff Anderson Sport Hall on Sunday. Williams, after inspecting the three Bands which come under the direct command of the Director of Music, Woman Senior Superintendent Charmain Stuart, highlighted the importance of commitment and discipline.
