Allen `2 sharp’ for Webster

Unbeaten super middleweight Lennox ‘2 Sharp’ Allen (22-0-1, 14 KOs) scored a one-sided 10-round unanimous victory over Derrick ‘Take it to the Bank ‘Webster (28-2, 14 KOs) to claim the WBA Gold belt on Friday night. 

Unbeaten super middleweight Lennox ‘2 Sharp’ Allen (22-0-1, 14 KOs) scored a convincing 10-round unanimous victory over Derrick ‘Take it to the Bank ’Webster (28-2, 14 KOs) to claim the WBA Gold belt on Friday night. 

The Brooklyn, New York based southpaw dropped his opponent in the third round en route to an impressive  98-9 x2, 97-92 verdict at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota.

According ‘2 Sharpe’s camp, he was the busier and more accurate puncher and was able to improve his unblemished record with a polished performance. With the loss, Webster, 36, who was a late entry into boxing at the age of 24, suffered just the second loss of his career.
