East Bank crushed West Demerara by 191 runs while East Coast coasted past Georgetown by 42 runs as the first round of the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) Under-17 Inter-Association tournament got underway yesterday.
At the Wales Community Centre Ground ground, East Bank batted first and piled up 238-9 from their allotted 46 overs after a late start reduced the overs in the match from 50.
West Demerara were then bundled out for an embarrassing 47 in 20 overs.
