Doreen Williams yesterday received a wheelchair for her son Compton Williams, who was the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
According to the Department of Public Information (DPI), the wheelchair was presented by Minister within the Ministry of Public Health Dr. Karen Cummings at the government outreach held at the Square of the Revolution yesterday.
The donation of the wheelchair came just over a week after Cummings visited the community of McDoom on another outreach and met Doreen Williams and promised to obtain a wheelchair for her son.
