Boxer charged over ecstasy pills

Kishon Simon

Kishon Simon, a local boxer, was yesterday granted bail, after police alleged that he was in possession of four grammes of ecstasy pills, which were found near his toilet.

Simon, 29, pleaded not guilty to the charge, which was read by Magistrate Faith McGusty at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

It was alleged that on April 15, at Oronoque Street, Georgetown, Simon had eight ecstasy pills in his possession, which amounted to four grammes.
