Colonel Kester Craig, acting Director-General of the Civil Defence Commission (CDC), yesterday said the current dry weather situation is being monitored across the country.
Speaking to Stabroek News via telephone, Craig explained that the CDC is monitoring every region but particular focus is being placed on Region Nine.
“We are gathering data presently. We have not received any reports of adverse impact from the regions but we are monitoring it,” he said.
