Mabura police find ganja in ‘spare’ wheels

On Saturday at about 5 pm, the police say that ranks at the Mabura Police Outpost acting on information received carried out a search on a minibus (Route #72) which was destined for  Mahdia and found a large quantity of ganja hidden in two `spare’ wheels.

“Upon searching it was observed that there were two wheels …strapped on top of the roof of the said bus; a search of the wheels revealed 29 bulky transparent parcels of cannabis weighing 28,148 grams.

Three persons including a female are in custody assisting with the investigation.
