Balram Narine stopped the clock at 47 minutes to ride off with the third annual Flying Ace Cycling Club, Father’s Day 10-lap road race yesterday in Berbice.

The young wheelsman battled a small contingent of 12 riders from the club as well as the gloomy weather that incorporated inconsistent showers as he pedaled through the Republic Road, New Amsterdam route, copping all eight sprint prizes.

Second was Ralph Seenarine who trailed by almost 500 metres while Jeremiah Joseph and Mario Washington rounded out the top four.
