Education Ministry Cadet Officers for Pomeroon River schools

Six Ministry of Education (MoE) Cadet Officers on Monday commenced a three-week attachment in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Region Two, where they are assigned to schools in the Pomeroon River.

A Department of Public Information (DPI) release stated that there was a small introductory ceremony in the Regional boardroom that was attended by the Assistant Chief Education Officer (Nursery), Samantha Williams; Regional Executive Officer, Regional Education Officers and the Senior Management Team of the Region.

The six Cadet Officers are Pamela Mootoo, Cindy Nelson, Hodannie Saul, Shevon Sutton, Cornella Leitch and Dawn Baker. Shortly after the introductions, the cadets proceeded to their attached schools in the Pomeroon where they will offer assistance to these schools through supervision and the provision of technical support and training to aid in the success of the students.
