Bromeliads were among the blooms on display by Grenada at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The theme was ‘A Carnival of Exotic Tropical Blooms’ and it wowed the judges handing the country its 15th Gold Medal. Grenada has been exhibiting at the show for 21 years.
Grenada’s display was said to be inspired by a carnival float and apart from bromeliads, included heliconias, orchids, ginger lilies, tropical ferns and other foliage as well as scented spices, all of which were grown in Grenada.
