A La Penitence man was on Tuesday granted $120,000 bail after he denied ownership of 53 grammes of cannabis found in his house.
Timothy Badal, of 193 Middle Road, La Penitence, appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, where he pleaded not guilty to a charge which stated that he, on June 15, at his home, was in possession of 53 grammes of marijuana.
Attorney Paul Fung-A-Fat represented Badal and told the court that the bedroom the cannabis was found in was an unoccupied room in the house.
