Linden man gets bail on wounding charge

Dellon Lester

A Linden resident was yesterday granted bail after he was charged with wounding a man after a row over missing items.

Dellon Lester was read the charge by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan in a Georgetown court, where it was alleged that on June 5th, at Granny Backdam, Essequibo River, he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Michael Miller.

Lester denied the charge.

Police Prosecutor Gordon Mansfield made no objection to bail being granted.
