The goal scoring fiesta in the ongoing Guyana Hockey Board (GHB)/Noble House Seafoods’ Goals Galore Handicap Open Indoor Hockey tournament continued to live up to the billing on Wednesday evening as Marzana Fiedtkou, Aroydy Branford and Devin Munro recorded stimulating performances to spur their sides to triumph at the National Gymnasium.
Fiedtkou, who turned out for the GBTI GCC Tigers, was in red hot form, netting six goals in her side’s 16-9 win over YMCA Old Fort Bellatrix who began the game with a nine-goal advantage but failed to score.
Supporting Fiedtkou’s remarkable effort was Tiffany Solomon, Shebiki Baptiste and Princess Wilkie – all of whom netted a brace – while Sandy Roopnarine scored a solitary goal.The Tigers began the match with a three-goal handicap.
