The Government of Guyana is showing its support for track and field by throwing its weight once again behind the Aliann Pompey Invitational (API) scheduled for July 6th at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora.
While a bevy of Government organisations have stepped up, the Ministry of Communities through its Green Generation programme is the biggest contributor to the athletics mega-event.
Coordinator at the Public Affairs Department of the Ministry of Communities, Danielle Campbell-Lowe, indicated that the values of Green Generation align with the API.
