President’s College, New Amsterdam Technical Institute [NATI], Berbice High and Marian Academy secured wins in the U18 division when the National Schools Basketball Festival [NSBF] commenced Sunday at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue.
President’s College mauled West Demerara 69-16. Richard Semple, Tushawn Bailer and Gabriel Lim scored 19, 12 and nine points respectively in the rout.
For West Demerara, Osaffa Chapman tallied eight points. In another fixture, NATI downed Christianburg/Wismar 50-47.
