Airport manager accused of sex harassment back at work

The senior Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) manager accused of sexual misconduct is back at work, sources say.

Stabroek News contacted the Human Resources Department on the issue yesterday and was told that the manager Yeolena Callender was out of office until Monday. Another official indicated that he was unable to confirm that the senior manager was back at work and told this newspaper to make contact with the office of the Chief Executive Officer in the morning. This newspaper was unable to make contacted with CEO Ramesh Ghir.

This newspaper was also told that police file regarding the matter is not yet with the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) where it is to be sent for legal advice.
