President of the Guyana Olympic Association (GOA), Kalam Azad Juman-Yassin has indicated that the president of the Guyana Cycling Federation, Horace Burrowes has promised to conduct the body’s elections in August.
Last month, Juman-Yassin had promised to write Burrowes over the issue since the four-year constitutional term of the current executives had ended in March without elections being held.
Juman-Yassin told Stabroek Sport, “I have written the President and he promised to hold the elections in August but he did not set a date however it will be after the championships.”
