Kwakwani, the Bishops’ High and St. Rose’s High secured wins in the U14 section while Marian Academy was victorious in the girls division when the National School Basketball Festival [NSBF] continued on Tuesday.
Staged at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue, Kwakwani mauled St. Stanislaus 50-9. Gevon Ross bagged a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.
He was assisted by Kelon Phillips who added 10 points and Matthew David who scored nine points and six rebounds. For the losers, Jamie Bascom and Jaban Lovell tallied five and four points each.
