Following a second complaint, the Solid Waste Department of the Mayor and City Council on Friday removed skip bins that were placed in front of Hack’s Halaal Food restaurant on Commerce Street, in Georgetown.

The restaurant’s management on Wednesday complained to Mayor Ubraj Narine for a second time of the placement of the commercial bins in front of its operation.

In a letter sent to the mayor and shared with this newspaper, the restaurant’s Managing Director Sultan Hack pointed out that it was inappropriate to have industrial waste bins placed in front of a food establishment.
