Children’s tournament helping with development of the game

The Red Cherry Restaurant sponsored seven-round chess tournament for children and youth to improve the quality of their game and ensure that chess is more competitive is being hosted this weekend.

The Red Cherry’s sponsorship of a children’s tournament on behalf of the Guyana Chess Federation (GCF) is an unequivocal forward step for the assured development of the game.
