Yesterday,  the Guyana Police Force (GPF) made cash awards to community groups and its members for good work including on the murder case involving moneychanger Aaron Latchman and his daughter Arian

The GPF in a press release said that this year it has awarded some 19.5 million dollars to its ranks in the form of incentives, some of which were as a result of hard work and dedication of ranks across the force, relating to successes in solving cases dating back to 2014 and as recent as the robbery/murder of moneychanger Latchman and his daughter in July 4, 2019.

Police Commissioner Leslie James commended the day’s awardees and zeroed in on an aspect of every professional’s life, which if failed at, could have a most negative effect – diligence, the press release said.
