No bail for vendor accused of trying to kill girlfriend

A year after being charged with stealing millions from the L. Seepersaud Maraj and Sons jewellery store, Trayon Parks was yesterday remanded to prison for the attempted murder of his girlfriend.

It is alleged that Parks, on July 1st at Water Street, Bagotstown, attempted to murder Cresheia Nero.

The 32-year-old accused, of 107 Old Road, Eccles, was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which was read to him by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan.
