Cops find car suspected to have been used in Festival City drive-by

Hours after the drive-by shooting in Festival City, North Ruimveldt, which claimed the life of former murder accused Leon Duncan, called ‘Whistle,’ police located a car that they believe was the one used in the attack.

Police said the shooting occurred around 9.55 pm on Sunday night at Williamstaad Street, Festival City, North Ruimveldt, Georgetown.

Three persons, including Leon Duncan’s brother, Shaquille Duncan, called ‘Lil Shaq,’ 25, of 2692 Manatee Place, South Ruimveldt, were also shot in the attack. Police said Shaquille sustained injuries to his right arm and left thigh. The two other injured persons are: Lawrence Simon, called ‘Plait Hair,’ 34, a construction worker, of 2104 Nutmeg Street, Festival City, who was shot to the left knee; and Orandy Gordon, 28, of 1195 Nutmeg Street, Festival City, who was shot to the left arm and right knee.
