Maryann Daby trial on gun, ammo charges to start in September

Maryann Daby

Senior Magistrate Leron Daly yesterday said that she will be conducting the trial of Maryann Daby on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Following Magistrate Daly’s decision on July 18th, when she freed Daby of an attempted murder charge, Police Prosecutor Richard Harris had requested that the two remaining charges against Daby be transferred to another court for trial. He said he believed that the ruling on the attempted murder charge would introduce prejudice in relation to the two remaining charges.
