Track and Field team aims to end Pan Am medal drought

Guyana’s four-member Track and Field team will aim to end the nation’s medal drought so far at the ongoing Pan American Games in Lima, Peru when action in the discipline starts today at the Athletics Stadium, in the Villa Deportiva Nacional Videna.

Sprinters, Brenessa Thompson (100,200m) Jenea McCammon (100 metres hurdles), Aliyah Abrams (400m) and Emanuel Archibald (long jump) are the nation’s representatives in athletics.

Julian Edmonds has been tasked the duties of Coach of the outfit.
