Albouystown youth gets two and a half years for armed robberies

Quacy Jupiter

Quacy Jupiter, the 18-year-old who on Monday told a city court that he committed two armed robbery attacks because he was hungry and had no money, has been sentenced to spend the next two and a half years in jail.

Jupiter, of Lot 137 Campbell Street, Albouystown, was sentenced to prison yesterday, just one day after he admitted to the charges.

Jupiter admitted that on August 1st, at Louisa Row, while armed with a gun, he robbed Robert Rawlins and Ulric Bristol in separate attacks.
