The man who succumbed after being struck last month along the La Penitence Public Road has been identified as an 80-year-old resident of McDoom Public Road, East Bank Demerara.
Police spokesman Jairam Ramlakhan said James Lord was positively identified on Friday afternoon by his son and wife.
The accident occurred around 9.45am on July 5th.
